My "New-to-Me" 65 Ladysmith

Hi All,

Just picked up my latest addition to the family...a 65-5 Ladysmith (thanks Steve).

Looking forward to shooting her this weekend.

Very nice, hard to beat those 3 inch guns, your Mod 65 looks great. Does it have the LadySmith markings on the right side.

I really liked that revolver when it came out and almost bought one but just could'nt get over the "Ladysmith" etch on the gun. Now I wish I had bought it. You have a very nice firearm.

JPWHEL, it does have the "Lady Smith" laser engraved on the right side.

I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas and can't wait pull the trigger on some live rounds.

I think the three inch barrel would be great. I've wanted a Model 10 like that, forever. I'm just afraid that finding a holster would be an issue. I'm still carrying my favorite Model 10 with a 5 inch barrel around in a 6 inch holster.

The only S&W I have left, is a 65. It is always nice to have a gun to shoot while you are waiting for the others to come back from the shop.

The lines of that 3 inch beauty are so nice! Also being topped of with basic no nonsense fixed sights! A perfect package imho.

Well...went to the range this afternoon. Shot a bunch of Remington 130 gr jacketed round nose from 7 yards.

Impressions? Well...DANG, that thing is accurate!!! I am not the best handgunner in the world but that gun makes me look like a marksman.

Had a ball punching paper with it...can't wait to go back.
