A few weeks ago I was going back and forth about whether to get a Model 10 or a Model 13. Given the relativity scarcity of the Model 13-3, I realized I was settling with the Model 10 (although that's hardly settling). Sure enough, the very next day after I decided on the Model 10, a Model 13-3 with my desired 3 inch barrel.
I was the high bidder and received the gun yesterday at my FFL. I think I made the absolute right choice given the excellence of both models, and am also very pleased that this dealer (who I have bought from before), tends to underrate the condition of their used guns. The bluing is excellent; the grips are almost like-new, and the bore looks clean and is without marks. I like the grip of the OEM Magna stocks and added a K-Frame-size BK grip. Fits perfectly in my hand. This particular gun dates to 1988.
Thanks to all Forum Members who weighed in on my previous thread about differences between the 13 and the 10. Enjoy the pictures. I am very happy to add this one to the stable!
