I see a lot of commercials for My Pillow.com. Has anyone here bought them and what is your reaction to them?

What makes the pillows unique? Do you feel they're well made, of good materials? Why or why not would you want this pillow?

Thanks.

My wife has a 'bad' neck. She bought a set hoping they would help her sleep. She liked the pillow for a few months and then grew tired of it. I hated it from the git-go. I think that any product that can only be sold by the use of excessive advertising is suspect..............

Jim, I know nothing about this company. I do believe that you could find a like item in one of your local malls. That way you can test it before you commit to buying.

Genie had neck and shoulder problems, to many hours hunched over her laptop. She purchased some "magic" pillow from The Good Sleep Store, and was very pleased with it. It did take several tries before she found the one that worked for her. Be advised they are not cheap.

You can get them at Bed Bath an Beyond. I bought a set there and I'm very pleased. LF's son got her one and she is happy with hers. They can be washed and dried at home. Also you can run them in the dryer to fluff them back up after awhile. Their made in the USA.

I get upset every time I hear their commercials. "Buy one pillow and we'll send you an additional pillow ABSOLUTELY FREE". If you've ever tried to order you'll find out that it's not true. If you just order one, the price is $49.95. When you try for the two for one special, the price is $99.95. That's just not two for one.

So, I decided to subject myself to calling and ordering over the phone. I asked for the pillow at $49.95 with the second free. The person I talked to paused and said she'd have to transfer me to a "supervisor". I waited on hold for over a half hour before I hung up. I did have the phone on speaker while I was working on the computer. I never did get the deal.

Ended up going to Walmart. I bought a nice pillow there for $8.00. At that price I could afford to replace it 6 times over the $49.95 My Pillow.

Big scam in my opinion.

My sister bought some and loved them for awhile. Now she bought some cheapo ones from walmart-said those are much better. I still have some filled with feathers that I really like. These pillows are older than I am, and ill be 50 in another 8 months.

Ringo-

Feather pillows are not for me. I'm allergic to them.

The pillow I have now was recommended by my chiropractor after I was in an accident and required his services for about a year. He said it provides better neck support than most.

The store where I got it doesn't carry them now, and the girl there didn't know why. It seems to work fine for me. I forgot what I paid, but I think he prescribed it, so insurance reimbursed me. I think it was about $75 or more.

Can't beat a good feather pillow.:)

I have one and I like it. A relative bought 2 and needed one. I have shoulder problems, and they have subsided a lot since I started using it. I have a selection of pillows, feather foam etc, but the my pillow, so far is actually helping me.

I don't buy any product with "shipping and handling" charges.

Shipping charges are variable depending on the ship from location and the ship to location. So they should be separated out. Everything else should be coming out of your profit margin.

Handling? What is that? I called one company and told the sales person I didn't want them to handle it, because if they handled it then it would be used and I wasn't going to pay full price for for a used product.

I quit that crooked 1-800-flowers place because they advertise one price then when you check out they pile on a dozen little charges. Answer the phone charge, credit card charge, packing charge, packaging charge, stem check charge, vase inspection charge... Screw you.

any local department store will have pillows that you can...feel, see, taste, smell and squish before you buy....why buy one sight unseen?.....

Walmart sells them now for the very same price as the TV add, minus the S&H. Still not worth it IMHO

I have one that I bought at Bed Bath & Beyond (lifetime return policy like Costco). I love it! I really picky about pillows and have gone through many, including $170 down pillows, memory foam, loose poly, etc. The best part of getting any pillow from BB&B is that you can return them if you don't like it and try another. I plan on staying with a My Pillow for as long as it sleeps well.

My wife likes hers. I find them comfortable for lounging around but not for sleeping to thick don't like my chin in my chest.
