Some stay..some go. The two on the right will stay forever. My blood.

My brother kept beagles for years, and many a cold morning was spent listening to their music. Enjoy them, they are beautiful.

There is something about an animal doing exactly what god meant them to do that is very satisfying. (I feel much the same way about thoroughbreds running).

Good looking dogs. I have 4 ea 3 yr female 13" beagles. Actually 11" What a trip to watch them and listen. Shooting a rabbit from in front of them is almost secondary
 
We have a 13" beagle too. Her name is Daisy. She was on the way to the pound because of her howling. The 1st owner lived in an apartment and the neighbors couldn't take the vocals. Why someone in an apartment would buy a beagle in beyond me but, people do seem to make bad choices when it comes to pets. She's out there as I write this howling at somethng! We live in the "country" and no one minds her vocals.
 
Beagles make me smile.If you had a sound track I'd really be smiling! You just can't make them house dogs,I don't think the ones that are house bound are Beagles anymore.Tell us,are yours escape artist?

One of the most beautiful sounds in the world is a good hound on a hot track.

Very nice dogs. They look like trouble for a lot of cottontails to me.
