My Pre 29 Turns 52 In A Few Days

Here's a picture of my 5 screw Pre 29. According to S&W factory records it left the factory on March 27/ 1957 and was shipped to J.R. Gaunt and Son, Longueuil, Quebec.

rfo1, that's a keeper. The 5 screw 4" pre-29 is scarce and that looks like a great example.

Thanks for the compliments fellas.I've had this one for a few years.The seller didn't really know the value of it at the time he offered it to me. Because it's a prohibited firearm in Canada ( due to the 4 inch barrel ) I got it for about the price of what I could sell the stocks for these days.
