I assumed nothing and made no reference to any specific post. I made a statement for all to consider.
Glad you did not make that inference. Rastoff's statement though was

I just wanted to be clear that someone who had read that comment had not thought I had broken any law. I obey the law, such as legal signs not recommended ones.
My point is the post office restricts the guns on their property,
force you to have a post office box, will not deliver mail to an apartment address, thereby creating an unsafe situation where a gun could get stolen from a vehicle, and then is used in a crime.
The post office is the only place I ever go that I leave my gun in a locked vehicle. I refuse to drive there disarmed. But when
I do, my car is NOT on post office property.
