We had our semi-annual swap meet today at the county game & fish club I belong to. A fellow I know had this 5926 for sale with 3 magazines. Yes, it's been cerakoted but was very nicely done IMO. Makes a nice counterpart to the stainless 5926 I adopted about 3 months ago.

I've been gravitating towards S&W semi-autos this past year, since I have about all the S&W revolvers I could possibly want, save for a very small handful, and the ones I don't have are now beyond my budget allowance.

Whoever did the Cerakote did a fantastic job. If you hadn't told us I'd think that was a factory Melonite coating. Nice purchase, I'd be happy to have that as part of my collection!

Nice pick-up, congrats.
My addiction isn't troublesome, but it has stopped me from buying other guns. I don't look at compacts any more, how much better than the smaller 9s? Subs are off the list with CS9 and CS45. I've stopped searching for striker-fired guns with a couple of SW99s, an M&P .45 with some trigger work, and don't worry about guns for my old(er) age with 2 EZs, one in 9 and one in 380, and who needs a single action 45 with a 745? (Okay, I have a 1911, I mean don't ya gotta have one of those?)

All I can offer is a caution -- beware of the addiction; and encouragement -- who says that sort of addiction is harmful (except to your bank account.)
