My score!!!!!

Well some of you may have seen my $200 S&W thread I did a few weeks back. Well lets just say I added to it

I saw a S&W model 38 on gunbroker that was listed as a model 36, horrible pictures and discription.... Well I picked it up for $171 !!! Got it today and its wonderful! It has some wear, I'd rate it at 80% or so, smooth trigger, fantastic lock up and original grips!
Serial # is 912JXX, whats its approx birthdate?? and what do you think its worth?

Bet inside it says Mod-49 dash nothing..

Mine has worked fine since, it was bought in the Cop Shop at Williams Gunsight, a LONG time ago... Show your cred, around the counter and into the back. Long before PC, Sub-guns sitting on the floor, leaned up against the wall..

Mail it back to the dept. for pickup. Still hangs in a front pocket just fine.

it says model 38 no dash inside the cylinder on the crane. Are these fairly rare at all? I cant find any on gunbroker.

This is one smooth shooting gun! Took it out today and I was amazed! Very light and pocket friendly to!
