My Shield and my old eyes

No change in sights will work if you can't focus on it.

I went to Walmart and had a pair of cheap "shooter" glasses made.

Measure from the plane of your current lens out to the front sight on your pistol. Take that measurement to your optometrist and he/she will make a bifocal with the "shooter" prescription on top.

Tilt your head forward an inch and that front sight is in crisp focus like when you were 12 years old with perfect vision. Let the target and rear sight blur. Made a big difference for me.

Cost was less than a quality set of sights. I used an old frame that I had laying around.

I always practice instinct shooting with my CCWs and I usually shoot good groups easier than with the sights LOL. I'm a decent shot with almost anything but shooting a compact striker fired 9 or 45 even with a decent trigger isn't the easiest to punch the X out with.
