After a few years of daily carry, the Shield 9mm was getting worn a bit and I have always wanted a better trigger and sights so... I shipped it off to James (XDMan) for some work.
Got it back this week and love the work! James did a fantastic job with a slide refinish in Black Chrome, mounted TFX Pro sights, and shipped back with an APEX carry kit that I installed. Did a deep cleaning while apart and now the trigger is very good. Still a little long in the take up but that is cause' I have been shooting 1911's a lot lately...
So far, so good and going to the range soon to make sure all is good. I am thinking of polishing the barrel, anyone done this? Maybe just the chamber hood...
