I have a chance to get an 18-3 for a really good price. It's not perfect, has a bit of the bluing rubbed off the end of the barrel from holster wear, but that's all. I can get it for around $350,,,,is that a good deal? I don't need it but it is a great looking piece and it does have the adjustable rear sight, no box or papers, but that's no big deal to me as I plan on shooting the **** out of it. Opinions/advice anyone?
TIA

Absoeffinglutely a good deal! Snag it quick. OD

My Thought on this is you should be posting pictures already.
Snag it quick because it won't last long

I will do the deal tomorrow as it's local to me. Guess I better charge my camera batteries. :D It's one of the few guns left from a very large estate sale that's been dragging on for over 2 years. The 2 trustees are friends of mine and I have bought a bunch of ammo and guns from the estate and have helped them sell many more, hence the great price. Thanks for your help guys and I'll be sure to get pics up as soon as I get it home and clean it up some!

Paul,
That is certainly a beautiful model 18.
Shoot it in good health and enjoy.
I own 3 model 17's at the present but am still
looking for that one special 18 like yours.

Mod 18's just don't show up that often. I probably see 10 Mod 17's for sale for every Mod 18 I see. I looked for a couple years and was getting nowhere (except for some really high dollar ones that I couldn't afford). Then my buddy called me to tell me a local pawn shop just put out a K22. Since I had to drive right by that shop on the way to the trap range, I found a the K22 Combat Masterpiece, 5 screw with just honest wear on it. It came home with me.

Hope yours shoots as good as mine does.

VERY nice. My 18-2 is from 1982, wears dark Spegels. Will probably send it in this year for a tune up as it's got some endshake and is spitting a little. It gets shot a lot...

Picked up my 18-3 today and got to put some rounds downrange with it. I'll start another thread and post up a few pics. :)
