I thought a photo thread that consisted of a picture (or pictures) of your top 3 S&W revolvers would be interesting. Why? Well a lot of folks on this forum have MANY incredible examples of Smith & Wesson's "art". For those members choosing JUST 3 out of their collections would be very challenging (Doc 44 comes to mind!). For others, not quite as tough. The three examples can be from any frame size, any caliber, any year. This is so as to limit it to JUST 3, not: "These are my favorite 3 K-frames and these are my favorite 3 N-frames…" Picture(s) of only 3 TOTAL.

I'll go first, and in no particular order:
27-2 3.5" Nickel (Dec. 1971), M&P .38 Special 2" (Nov. 21, 1947), & Model 60 2" (May 1979) engraved.

Just like choosing which of your children (or grandchildren) you like best… some one's "feelings" will be hurt.

Let's see your choices!

I'll play. These are my three current favorites (you've seen them before, but you asked!)-

Behlert custom 25-2

Pinnacle/Dietrich custom 9mm 360J

Krebs Custom .45acp 28-2 "CROWBAR"

The stags on that model 60 are impressive!

Tougher choices than I thought...

My first a 66-1 MSHP Comm with all the fixin's - led to many more 66's.

Then I'd have to go with the HP, gotta love them. The way a revolver was meant to be - period. Yes, I know I need some proper grips for it.

Then one that surprised me a 13-2 in Nickel, now I want a 65-2 really bad, .357 fixed sights WAY more fun than expected.

K-32 shipped January 1956: One of my favorite shooters.
K-22 shipped March 1948: Another one of my favorite shooters.
.32 Regulation Police shipped January 1924: My Grandfather's gun, handed down to my Dad, handed down to me.

Picking three favorites is like picking out three of your kids. But here goes........................................

My first 29

Gift from my Dad!

First 4 inch 29 with Kurac Fiddleback Honey Bastogne Walnut Stocks

I am very fortunate, as I don't have to pick out three from that bunch that Doc has.

Since you asked and in no particular order..................

Model 29 no dash. Just went to the range with it yesterday and was shooting it at (and occasionally hitting the target) 300 yards.

K22 Masterpiece.

Tough choice on the third as I really like all my Smiths, but if pushed to make a decision, I would have to pick this 29-2.

Now all the other kids in the safe are saying "what about me?"
