Non-relieved N target stocks manufactured from ~1952 until ~1958. Dates are approximate. Very good deal in my opinion.

It appears someone may have applied some extra finish after the fact. The left panel often have dings from ejecting cartridges. That one seems to have escaped that problem.
 
Yes. I'll soak these in acetone..
I have refinished several sets and wanting to really know what the best method is.
I have a set of regular N Walnut target footballs that I refinished. They had nothing on them and we bare wood, but in great shape..
I put one coat of lacquer on them and that was it. That's the closest I have got to original Smith finish.
I have not tried tung oil, but I will do this after a very light sanding.

I saw the fifth edition pricing on these.
An ANIB set are priced at 750! Crazy.
These might be less than half that, but at $91 shipped I think I did great.
I may put them on my refinished nickel S prefix 28–2.
