Anyone planning on attending a Nascar race this year besides me? I'm going to attend as many as possible.

Ok before all get started it's Nascar not Nacar.

Just Talladega, Texas Speedway and Bristol.

Not too much beats those tracks.

I purchased my airline tickets for Talladega this week.

Man, that is not the way to be there.

Get a RV, stay in the free parking area behind the track and enjoy life.

Half the pleasure and fun of going is for the afternoon and evening entertainment.

Hotel rooms are overpriced there during the races, if you can find one.

I was born in Talladega about 30 yrs before the track was even thought about. I have kinfolks I talk with almost weekly that live there and want me to stay with them while there. NO WAY. The RV parking is where I want to be. So I put $1,000 in the fuel tank, another $200 in the frigde and just carry my cell phone so I can tell others what is needed for me to work with when I return. from five days of pure pleasure. Last race I did some some 400 photos at the campground.

Just Chicago for me, it's a boring race track but we have more fun tailgating than anything. Someday I will get to Talledega.
