National Peace Officers Memorial Day

In memory of those who served and were killed in the line of duty. 307 names were added to the memorial since last year. President Kennedy proclaimed May 15th each year as such in 1962. Also making the week in which May 15th falls National Police Week.

I knew a few of those men during my LEO career and I also knew some that took their own lives due to job related depression that are not on that list. I honor all of them on this day.
