Nearly had a heart attack this afternoon

try buying factory 330 dakota rounds, makes the cost of reloading equipment seem like a real bargain.

My brother bought me a box of reloading stuff at a yard sale 20 years ago for $20 bucks. It had 200 new 45/70 cases,100 fired 1000 bullets. Some old hand loader magazines, 200 mixed odd ball piece of brass all things I could use. But the holy grail was 3 brand new boxes of 35 Winchester brass in prefect condition. Which promptly sold for $300 to the only guy I know with a 35 win. It was his offer by the way. And I gave my brother $170 for his find. Some time you just have to pay the piper, if your going to keep old odd rifles shooting.

I have been casting for 50 years. In fact have 300 pounds of lead in the garage to melt into ingots.

Me too. 303 ingots, 280 pounds. Last year I cast all my lead into ingots and this year I'll cast up some bullets. 44 cal 250 gr. KT SWC. RCBS 2 cavity mold. Should hold me for a bit.

I wish .38 Special was more reasonable . No , I am not going reload . Not an option . I'll just have to deal with it .
