nectar of the gods

Nectar of the gods is Johnnie Walker Double Black.
Mostly I drink lots of Diet Coke and black coffee.
I don't drink much beer but when I do it's Natural Light. It's cheap but
very good...for beer that is. I used to buy it at drugstores and grocery
stores for 14.99 for 30 packs on sale. I wondered how in the world
AB could sell beer for $.50 each and make money. It's gone up like
everything else but can still be bought sometimes for 15.99 for 30.
Amazing.

Wal-Marts around here usually sell the 30 racks for 13.99 IIRC.
In San Antonio over the summer, the Wal-Mart by me had ridiculous good beer prices. The best deals were 24 oz cans of the cheap stuff (natty, busch, HL, etc) for 97 cents

I'm not a big Beer Guy, so when I am truly thirsty I'll drink some ".02 Cent Plain" - that's Seltzer to the younger guys here. For relaxin, I like Single Barrel Jack or Woodford's Reserve. In the heat of the summer I like home made Lemonade made solely with fresh lemons - NO store bought mix. Once in a Blue Moon I'll have a Yeungling Beer or a Stella with hot dogs or burgers.

As far as beer, socially(meaning more than one), or with food, I like Miller Lite. If I'm just going to have one in a bar and savor it, a porter or stout, Guinness is just fine. I like malty beers. Never seen a whiskey or red wine that seemed even potable, to me. Occasionally, I'll have a Coke, usually with pizza, if I can't have beer. Unsweet iced tea, the brisk brand, with lemon suits me. Tap water, none of that "dead" stuff in plastic bottles for me. Made from scratch lemonade, is special stuff.

I drink mostly water but I do have one soda or ice tea at lunch time then its back to water. As far as cocktails go I will have the occasional Shirley temple or Roy Rogers.

For me, Nectar of the Gods, would be Laphroiag 10 year old Single Malt Scotch...

Nothing else even comes close...

NOTHING.

Nope, something else smacks that nail right dead square on the head...liquefied burned coal. Taste exactly like Laphroiag. Glad you like it, but it makes most billy goats puke.

Nectar of the Gods...easy, Bushmills 16 year Single Malt.

I wouldn't call it Nectar but as far as beer goes, Suuntory Draft. I also get in the mood to hammer down some Genesee Cream Ale now and then.
