Need 60 inch hard case for rifles

Planning to ship a couple of flintlocks. Usual sources of hard cases seem limited to "standard" lengths and the long cases get very expensive. Any ideas about a reasonably priced option?

I've used pack and ship stores when I had similar issues. They pack it, insure it, and ship it to my destination. There must be a similar business near you that you can call for more info.

Thanks for that advice. The long guns are in the collection of a museum where I volunteer as firearms historian. They will be shipped and returned on loan to other institutions so it makes sense to acquire reusable hard cases.

If looking for one at a time, eBay always has a selection of used Military cases in various sizes.

If you are looking for quantity, there are the guys that go to the sales at the bases and buy entire lots. They usually sell in quantity

Right now one of them has a case that looks long enough. However they are at auction as a pallet of 8 pieces.

Now you will meed to put new foam in them since the included foam is cut for the product they carried

However the current bid is so low that buying foama is not an issue
