I need to replace my slide stop assembly. The left side tab or button broke off last night.
Brownells and Midway are both out of stock. I see that people have gotten them from S&W before but Smith seems to have changed their policy sometime back. They now label this unit as a restricted part and will not sell me one. What going on - is Smith trying to exert some greater control on the aftermarket world?
I don't want to send them my gun, partly because I have some Apex parts in it (which I love BTW) and partly because I don't want to be without it. It a simple, simple part to replace.
