Need advice on Sigma SW9VE, last round in Magazine doesn't Chamber

Ok you all... I need some of your expert advise before sending gun back to S&W. For some reason the last round, the 10th round never Chambers properly, every dang time!! I am using quality ammo, Remington, Federal Premium, etc. No China/Korea Garbage and that last dang round tries to load then jams??? My gun is always clean so I know that's not it and its driving me NUTS!!! I have shot 115, 124, 135 Grain ammo in FMJ and Jacketed Hollow Points, No change!! Any Info. Would be greatly appreciated and Merry Christmas to you all! Got an Used Barrett 50 Cal for Christmas. Yeah Baby!! Now I have to get another job to shoot it at almost $7.50 a round in California and they now charge California Citizens a Recycle Charge to shoot the BMG50 round at $5.00 a Round.... That's ****!! (1) shot cost ya $12.50 a round to shoot at the open air range in Lincoln CA! It's B.S.!!!!!!!! Welcome to California huh? Lol.

Is it only one mag or every mag? I highly doubt it is the gun seeing as you said 9 out of 10 fire every time. Id take a closer look at your mag especially the follower, break them down....smooth any burrs and lightly oil.

You own a sigma and a $4,000 rifle, $8,000 for semi-auto?

Yup that's CA fopr ya. I am in So.CAL. I like to go to Lytle Creek Firing Line. Youa are shooting a .50 CAL?, you need to go get about 100 cartridges and some reloading equipment my friend. Save yourself some money.
Okay, now for the other problem. this may be one of a few different things. when you load all 10 rounds into the mag and slide it into the gun, hold the handle loosly and give it a shake. if it rattles at all try using 9 rounds for a while.
wheather it shakes or not do the following:
Take the mag apart. make sure the coils are not binding at the bottom. If they are slightly pull upward on the spring to un bind them. Spray the sping lightly with some WD-40 or Break-Free, let sit about 20 min. and then wipe clean, leaving just a hint on the spring. This should clear you delema.
If not:
Plolishe the hell out of your loading ramp, use some good metal polish with some ultra fine, wet-dry sand paper or 00 steel wool. get it to a f'n mirrior finish.
If that does not work then send it in. The WD-40 on the spring should work good for you though.

Yeah have probably to many guns, did I just say that? NEVER have to many guns... Got 28 gauge H&R shotgun, Desert Eagle 50 Semi auto pistol, 308, 30-06, 7MM, 300 Win Mag... Big Hunter! And way to many piatols If there is a such thing!! Never enough guns! Thanks for info!!!

Well I did what Vector16 told me to do and Bammo, like NEW! Dumped 100 rounds out of both Mags with no problems at all! The Spring was Binding at the bottom on both Mags. Thanks for the help my friend!!!!!!

Yes I was fortunate enough to acquire the Barrett 50. I am traveling to Africa for an Elephant Hunt and I'm not taking any chances. My Buddy owns the game reserve and he shoots the same Barrett for Elephant and Safari Hunts. Shot a 458 Lott last year and Elephant just kept on coming after 4 rounds in him! At least I can pop him from a mile away now and not have to worry as much about the Animal charging after me if my rounds or shot fails! And I wish it was only $4000.00! Here in California it's hard to even buy a used one for less than $7000.00!!!! But it's well worth it!!!!

Why not both?? I have a few sigmas in 40 and 357 sig, I also have a "few 40 Glocks" That do not thrill me. My 3 " SW 65 is great. Any way I am glad you got the mag problem worked out. As for 50 ammo why do you not order it from out of state? I did not think the law passed that would prevent you from ordering elsewhere. What model Barrett? Be Safe.

I'm not a Glock fan either. My Colt 1911 Defender 45 and my Kimber 45 will shoot circles around any Glock, that statement I'm sure will generate some Heat from the Glock Lovers but hey..... Our Sigma's stand right there with the Glock and ours only cost $300.00! Bought the Sigma thinking oh god how is this gonna shoot?? Answer=AWESOME!! I always carry it Deer Hunting, Great Gun!

The Barrett I have is the Model#M107A1 and ordered ammo for it today from cheaperthandirt.com until I get my new Dies and Accessories for reload.

I too also have many firearms and I have carried this sigma 40F for more than 10 yrs, long before experts told me that it did not work, was inaccurate, etc. My wife carries a custom Officer's model- her choice. I do have a dual shoulder holster rig with dual mag pouches from Black Hills Leather. My Barrett is an 82A1, See PM

Any real gun will shoot circles around any plastic gun, esspecially a 1911, Colt. My Hi-Point C9 can shoot circles around a Glock. The only thing Glock has going for it is, It can be burried in mud for a month, kept in sand for a year, etc because the thing that worries the normal person when they are burried alive is how their gun is going to perform when or if it is uncovered. Not the other lame things like will I still be breathing in 5 min, will i die slowly and painfully and so on. I mean for real, is it that important for you gun to be burried for a month? I would forget where the hell I burried it.

Glad the Mag issue is solved with something so simple. It would have sucked for you to send it back to S&W and have them not be able to fix the gun.

Viper.... That 82A1 is a BAD BOY!!!!!!!!! Love these guns!!!! This gun can serve a Million Purposes from Hunting to Defending! Heck we should both make a Gun Touret Mount on our trucks and really take no Heck from anyone or anything for that matter!! Hahahaha.
