Reinhard, USCCO means U.S.Cartridge Co. It was an ammunition maker in the late 1800s, early 1900s. They had a great collection of guns that was sold off early in the 20th century, as I recall. Some of their guns were marked USCCO. They published a sales catalog of their collection, however copies for sale seldom show up anymore. The .22 single shot may be in those catalogs. What is the name engraved on the gun? A 3rd model .22 single shot in very good condition will probably be in the $1500 - $2000 US dollars range here in the US. What's a fair price in Belgium, I have no idea. Good Luck, Ed 315

It's probably put together from parts (worth less) or a special order (worth quite a bit more), since 32 and 38 calibers are usually found only in the first model. Verify that it is a third model, then look for a serial number on the barrel behind the latch. The USCCO markings would add a little to the value. The name suggests a presentation, possibly a retirement gift. If it is a matching third model, grab it and research it.

,Thanks, the problem is that the market is too small here to get some good advice,I have never seen a single shot for sale here, and as for value I have absolutely no idea, the name on the gun is Frank Meyers
I believe the gun is going for 1300$
thanks

si

I have seen the owner of the gun today, the serial is 9364,like Bob said there was a replacement barrel on the gun, mayby this was special ordered by the owner? I don't know
but in my opinion the gun can not be regarded as original anymore
thanks for the advice
Reinhard
