Closest I can get is late '50s.

It's a .38 Military and Police Model 10.

I'm sure Jack will be along soon with a far closer estimate for you.

I don't believe those stocks are original--should have diamonds
around the escutcheons.

Model 10, serial number C457406, likely shipped in 1959. Here are some comparables:

C456661 shipped in April, 1959
C457161 shipped in March, 1959
C459109 shipped in May, 1958
C459655 shipped in October 1959

My Reference shows C429741 – C474148 for 1960.

But I would defer to the experts here.
