Shot in the dark:
Had similar symptoms, did the usual compression and fuel tests, ignition anaysis, nothing. Put on plug wires for grins, changed fuel filter.
It was the coil. Fortunately, the coil had the decency to die completely within a few months, and a new coil solved ALL the problems.
Go figure.
