I bought a (rare) 2" barreled Third Model S&W Breaktop at a recent auction. Well, the description was less than accurate. This pistol needs some repair work. It won't stay cocked. The hammer just drops. It is also missing the front sight. Does anyone know a gunsmith who works on these? (I could probably send the bloody thing back, but I kind of like it, and this barrel length being rare, I could not easily replace it.)
