Are there any folks still working on the 4506 outside the factory?
If so does anyone have any recommendations? I may have some extractor work needed.
Thanks,
Ralph

I have never worked with BMCM but his conduct that has been detailed in this forum and the growing list of folks who have had work done by him makes him, in my opinion, --THE-- best option today for random work and creative work on S&W 3rd Gen pistols.

If you said to me "send to S&W or send to BMCM?" my answer would be BMCM, 11 times out of 10.

BMCM

Bill has done work on 2 of my S&W revolvers, a #17 .22 L.R. frame. Fitted a .22 Mag cylinder to that frame, so I have the best of both worlds. Also the .22 L.R. cylinder charge holes were very tight when loading rounds, and very hard ejecting spent shells. He reamed all the charge holes in the cylinder making it a pleasure to load/unload cartridges. I guess S&W's .22 L.R. cylinders were all tight fitting. He also cleaned up a badly scratched and gouged #27 cylinder, re-blued the area repaired to more than acceptable results. (I was going to purchase a newer cylinder) but his efforts saved me the headache... Bill is honest/trustworthy and a very knowledgeable gunsmith. His pricing for his quality of work can't be beat. HIGHLY recommended. We are lucky to have this man on this forum..... NO worries....!!

BMCM is what you want. Bill is a gentleman and super easy to work with. His work and ethics are impeccable. And what georgek472 said.
