Need help buying M&P 9C @ gun show

So I have my heart set on an M&P 9C, and a new one with warranty sounds nice. I have seen dealers at the few shows I've been to, and am planning on attending the one this Saturday in Columbia, SC. If I bring cash, what's a realistic lowest price I can negotiate? Thanks!

First you go around the show and look at all the tables, notate what prices are on which dealers guns. Look... don't dicker or bargain on the first pass. Now look at your list and find the lowest 2 or 3 dealers. Now go over and ask to look at the gun you want, after a moment tell them you will pay cash and what is their lowest price out the door. At this point you can Buy it, offer $10 or $20 less or say you'll consider it further and go try the next dealer.

Chances are none of them will come down much if at all from their sticker price - the market is just too good right now. Your other option is to find a nice used gun from a private seller that you can probably dicker on... and don't worry about the warranty, S&W will take care of it if something goes wrong, and I have never been asked if I am the original owner.

Demand is high, but BudsPoliceSupply has them online now for $399 with three mags.

I would think a good price for a used gun would be $350, but that darn demand thing gets in the way. Expect to pay upwards of $400.

My LGS are asking $399 right now. It seems like prices are falling on the M&P series. Slickguns has advertised them for $399 with very low shipping.

I agree, the prices for the compacts are dropping..I got my 9C for 475 OTD, and the same GS has them for 399 + taxes etc... and that was a span of less than a year.
Id expect them to be from 399 - 425 OTD at a gun show....

So I saw on slickguns a place selling 9c's on sale for $409. It's the 151118 model, w/ illuminated dots (glow in dark after exposure to light). Free shipping. Can anyone comment on these? The S&W site doesn't list it anymore, so perhaps it was "last year's model"? Compared to the newest ones with thumb safety, this model has no mag safety or internal lock. Thanks.
