Need Help Extractor pins

I have a pre 29 that is missing one of the extractor pins.I tried to order from gunparts but they must be out of stock.Did not show shipped with my order.Does anyone have two pins or know where they can be purchased.Would S&W still have them? Thanks

Extractor pins are easily made from music wire. There is a size made which almost exactly matches the pin. Model shops sell 36" lengths of music wire and you can probably find the right size there. Cut it to the right length and grind a ball shape on the outer end. Clean the pin and hole well and use a dab of Loctite to secure it. After it cures, you can touch up the pin with cold blue.
