My father-in-law may be looking for a 642 soon.

Around here I'm spotting them as low as $375 before the rebate.

Any of you over there seeing prices like that? Preferably in a shop near North Charleston.

Here in Columbia they are close to 500 bucks before rebate.

Best deal I can find in the upstate is $442 for a 442 from my local preferred pusher. My dealer said that is about the price at Academy but I prefer not to trade with mass merchadisers.

No excise tax but 6% sales tax except Nov. 27 which is a tax free day for firearms statewide.
