Need help identifying .22 lr

Welcome! You have the ID correct, it is a K-22 Combat Masterpiece. From the details of the photos it is from between about 1950 and '57; if you can give the serial number from the bottom of the grip frame (K plus six digits I would guess), we can tell how old it is. Hope this is helpful.

As Murphydog stated it is a "K-22 Combat Masterpiece" which was introduced around 1950 as a new model,
some people refer to it as a "Pre Model 18" since it became the Model 18 around 1957-58 when model numbers were introduced.
The 5 screw frame and "High Speed hammer" were used until around 1956,
The satin blue finish changed to bright blue around 1954,
The shoulder on diamond Magn grips changed to the tapered style around 1953,
If the number stamped inside your guns right grip panel matches the serial on the guns heel my guess is your gun is a 1953-1954, If you post the serial can confirm and narrow it down a bit.

Looks to be an early 1953 made gun.

Agree with Alan its likely a 1953 shipped gun, Interesting there is no serial stamp in the inside of the right grip panel as it was the standard practice but I suppose some slipped through the cracks.
A unique feature of stocks in your serial range would be the use of raw steel medallions instead of the usual nickel coated brass (IIRC due to war shortages on brass), if a magnet sticks to them they are steel and would be period correct for guns in your serial range IMO.
