Need help with a hammer replacement for 586

I have a question about a FMFP 586, can it get converted to a hammer mount firing pin. Or can I take a pinned hammer and remove the firing pin and use it in a FMFP revolver. I know there is going to be some fitting but I really want to get rid of the MIM hammer in a newer gun. Thanks

Guess what? Your gun also has an MIM trigger and rebound slide and bolt... Lots of those awful MIM parts in the FMFP revolvers. Maybe you need to buy one of those good old HMFP guns with real forged steel parts.

I know that the gun is littered with MIM parts, I was able to get all forged replacement parts except the hammer. I was really hoping to replace it, I guess I'll go with tomcatt51 and get an old one, it is hard to beat that quality.
