I like the Antique Bicycle guns( 2 inch barrel variations) of any manufacture. So, I know a little about the I.J top breaks. A photo would also help.

If there is only an address on the barrel and no patent dates? It's a modern gun that was manufactured after about 1902. With that high a serial number likely much later.

Iver Johnson manufactured hundreds of thousands of top breaks over a long period of time beginning in about 1887 for the top breaks. Serial numbers are often repeated accompanied by a suffix letter beginning with A and ending with a much later letter depending on model and how many were manufactured. The later the letter in the alphabet the later the production year. So a photo really is needed. Also a photo of the serial number, any patent dates, and any suffix letter stamped either under the grip frame or under the left grip stamped large and capital letter. Barrel length, type of grips? Owl head is straight up or tilted. If it's tilted it's an early gun. These are much more collectable than they use to be but it depends on condition and rarity just like any other firearm.

In that long thread, the late Bill Goforth, who wrote the book on Harrington & Richardson firearms, answers questions regarding H&R serial numbers. Could be an H&R Premier Second Model top break. If so, the manufacture date is 1917.

Anything and everything is collectable to someone. Are you really asking if your gun is worth a lot of money. I doubt it but you're in the wrong forum. do a google search for Iver Johnson or Harrington and Richardson.

If it is functional and shootable I would think it is worth about 75.00 to 150.00 dollars. It has little or no finish left and a collector would want it only if the finish was closer to 100% remaining.

Yes, it is functional. I shot it over the weekend. It's pretty accurate even.
