Need help with reassembly M&P trigger and Bodyguard slide

I know this makes me sound like an idiot but after some range time, I was cleaning my guns and messed up with reassembly. Maybe I went too far with disassembly.
On my M&P.40, I removed what I guess to be the pin that holds the trigger in. Needless to say, the trigger is flopping around. How do I reinstall it? Video link?
On my BG .380, I can't get the slide to fully return to rest. It's not the set screw for the laser. Any videos or links would be greatly appreciated.

fast forward to about 15 minutes for trigger install (it's for the apex kit, but...the basics are the same.)

for the bodyguard, how far from forward rest position are we talking?

the bodyguard...did You A) capture the spring with the take down lever, and B) did You hear the takedown click into place on reassembly?
