Hi guys,
I'm in the woods of purchasing a 625-4 5" with 10 moon clips with belt clips, tools and a bladetech holster. The person that's selling used to compete with it and decided to quit the game. He's selling it for $500. It's in really great condition and the timing and lock up is solid. I'm wondering if the price is right? He's the only owner and no factory box and it's a pre lock. Any help would be great.
Thanks

Buy it NOW!

That is a great price.

If you need more assurance look at the listings on Gun Broker.

That's a good price for that revolver. As a rule of thumb, IMO, $600 for any N-frame in nice condition is probably a good buy. I cannot remember the last time I saw a nice N-frame under $700.

nice = original in excellent condition

The 5 inch 625's have been hovering around a grand in my area. One in good shape for $500 would be a no-brainer....Buy it, or tell me where I can ;)

My 625-6 (5") and 625-8 JM Special (4") and they are my most shot revolvers. They are one of the better efforts of S&W of all time. IDPA no longer allows 5" revolvers (over reaction to the spectacular scores shot by Jerry Miculek with a 5" 625 beating all of the auto users) hence there are some of these that have become available - that is a GOOD thing as Smith dropped the 5" from production.

IMO that is an excellent price, as several others have stated above. Grab it!
