Need help with value on 3 revolvers...

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on a great acquisition. Those are all really nice revolvers.

Just don't lose the original wood grips, won't detract from the value at all and it will allow you to keep the originals in the same condition you got them in.
Grats on the excellent deal!

The wood grips will give you better feel when firing a revelover double action. When the lite came on for me I put the wood back on all of mine.

One quick last question...as far as value is concerned does it detract a lot if I were to replace the grips on the 66 with something like a pachymar? (I would obviously keep the wood)

The 64 has the pach's and they fit my hand much better than the wood on the 66.

Thanks again!

This round butt 66-4 came with Uncle Mike's conversion grips.

Your model 66 has aftermarket Hogue fingergroove stocks. Any "round butt" K frame stocks will fit it, including Pachmayrs.

Ok, complete novice here....what is the horseshoe? Because I don't want to lose it! Thanks in advance.

It is the piece that goes on the bottom outside of the grip frame that the grip screw turns into on the houge grips. You spread it and place it over the locator pin.
