It's hard to tell from you photo exactly what you have, finishwise. I see some indication of a refinish, which kills any value as a collectable. What is the caliber of your gun? .38 Spl. or .38 S&W? If it's .38 S&W, have the chambers been bored out to take .38 Spls ? V245XXX wold have been produced in March 1943. Original type grips can be found on Ebay or from Numrich Gun Parts and other parts dealers. I would guess current value of your gun, if in good mechanical condition, to be in the range of $250 - $300 as a shooter. Ed.
