Need Shooting Gloves

Any recommendation for some gloves to help with hard recoiling revolvers? I haven't been able to find any at the local shops. Thanks in advance.

Golf gloves work great.Just use scissors to cut the end of the fingertip off.

Check the local Auto Parts stores for a pair of mechanic's gloves. Most have equal or better padding than shooting gloves and are usually a good bit cheaper.

I have a pair of motorcycle gloves from Fox Creek Leather, which have served me well as shooting gloves ever since I went back to four wheels. The company makes some gel palm gloves also, which would probably be perfect for recoil reduction:

There ya go! I use a pair when riding my motorcycle. Should work good for shooting.

+ 1 on the bike gloves! They don't have the full fingers so you have the dexterity, but they do have the padding in just the right places!

When I use a shooting glove, other than in cold weather, I just use the weightlifting type gloves. They don't cover the fingertips so you're good to go as far as feeling the trigger.

YEP....I bought a pair of leather palmed mechanics gloves at Harbor Freight and cut the fingers and thumb off and they work great.

have a pair of uncle mikes shooting. good quality, fit. do not use them any more. when @ the range i want to feel each grip of the weapon i use.

I use a pair of PAST shooting gloves that work real good and are designed for exactly what you want. Try the cheaper gloves first but if they don't work, spend the extra money and get what you really need.

This is going to sound really sad but I've only shot a gun two or three times so far and even on a 9mm the recoil took me by surprise. I'm getting my first gun in a couple weeks, any suggestions for a pair of gloves to help the impact until I get used to shooting?
