Need Some Cyl. Endshake Bearings

My Pre-Model 15 has a bit of cylinder endshake. There is no yoke endshake, but when I measure the barrel/cylinder gap I get .002" and if I push the cylinder all the way back towards the recoil shield I can slide a .004" feeler gauge in between the barrel & cylinder.
Brownell's sells the Power Custom endshake bearings, part # 713-100-002 for the K-L-N frames in a .002" size but they are in packs of 10 for $17.99 plus shipping. Does anyone have a couple left over from a project that they can spare ? I'd be happy to mail you $6 or $7 to cover them. Thanks.

That sounds like end shake of about .002", so you only need one washer. They are .002" each.

If .002 is all that is there, I wouldn't worry about it. The factory states .004 - .010, and I've read there are more revolvers out there with more than that. For a short barrel revolver, there isn't really that much differnce in velocity and accuracy.

.004 - .010" is barrel cylinder gap spec. End shake spec is .000 - .001" allowed. End shake is pernicious because it allows the cylinder to batter the frame. Best not to let it get past .002.

I've found that these shims are supposed to be .002" but all of them measured .0015 by my digi caliper..
Just something to think about when desideing to use one or two??
