I'm really trying to like my 559 which is a second generation, all stainless gun. It fits nicely in my hand and is nicely hefty. It seems to be quite accurate as well. It was bought on-line so I didn't get the opportunity to go over it before purchase
I cannot deal with the trigger. I know the long pull is a must but it doesn't need to break at about 7 pounds and it doesn't need to feel like my gravel driveway. I'm mainly concerned with the single stage pull not the double action pull although one would guess they both need help.
So the question is.. Does anyone know a competent smith who can refine this gun? Smith & Wesson does not support them any longer.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. Right now it's simply not fun to shoot.
