One of the men at prayer who was murdered today in Jerusalem was a neighbor during my high school days.

Secretary Kerry has rightly expressed his personal sadness and America's outrage:

"Innocent people who had come to worship died in the sanctuary of a synagogue," Kerry said, his voice quavering. "They were hatcheted, hacked and murdered in that holy place in an act of pure terror and senseless brutality and murder. I call on Palestinians at every single level of leadership to condemn this in the most powerful terms. This violence has no place anywhere, particularly after the discussion that we just had the other day in Amman."

If you are inclined to pray, and especially if you say prayers for America's Troops today, please keep in mind the families of today's victims.

I "liked" your post Bushmaster, but "like" just doesn't seem appropriate under the circumstances. I'll be remembering the loved ones of these innocent people in prayer. Even in a world that seems to be spinning rapidly out of control, this incident shocks the conscience.

This was a horrible thing to happen. Sorry about your neighbor and sorry to all the friends and family of those who lost a loved one.

One more senseless and wanton act of violence. My prayers go out to the victims their families, and friends. When will the madness stop?

It does seem that our society is spinning towards I know that our parents have expressed their views but I, as well as most the people I know something's terribly wrong. We are in for something, what I can't even guess. It could result in anarchy.

But, try as I might, staying in my home is the only concept for my family.:(
