I too ordered from grabagun. I swear it was $389 plus $8 shipping. Minus $50 rebate from S&W. I had $30 FFL fee for paperwork and a little something for him. So out the door for a net price of $377. I wanted to sell Another gun in my inventory first, but at that price I couldn't stop myself from Jumping on it

Not sure if grabagun still has that deal or any left in stock.

My rebate took 8 days from submission to receipt of the mastercard... The website still says processing...
I got it on the mail a couple of days after I posted that ad a matter of fact I had it and spent it while it said that it was processing lol

This thread pushed me over the edge. I just ordered a 3.6" Compact togo with my 4". So, how do I go about getting the rebate?

Search for Smith and Wesson 2018 rebates. You'll find a link to the submission page. There, you'll need to upload the invoice and a photo of the box showing the serial number. They're processing the rebates very quickly.

This thread also pushed me over the edge. Since I already have a Gen 1 compact that I use full size magazines in, I had pretty much decided to pass on the 2.0 compact, but due to seeing all the good reports, I finally caved in and bought the 3.6" version without safety.

I'm glad I did. Wow, what a nice gun. Feels great in the hand, points well, and very comfortable to shoot. Did I also mention that's it's very accurate?

I compared it to my Shield and was amazed that the 2.0 compact is only about .5" taller and .5" longer. The width is also wider than the Shield, and that may be the biggest disadvantage if carrying, but I shoot the compact so much better than my Shield that there's no comparison. Personally, I would carry the 2.0 compact over the Shield any day, even with it's slightly larger dimensions. The accuracy and the greater round capacity in my opinion make it the hands down winner, unless of course situations call for a slimmer weapon to carry.

S & W really has a hit on their hands with this Compact 2.0. I can see this one easily becoming one of my most favorite guns.

I am really liking my new 3.6 2.0! It will not take the place of my 9c. Different guns, for different purposes.

I believe I like to carry my Shield the best.

I live near Chi-Raq, and go thru there frequently. When in or near the city, it's nice to have the comfort of more bullets, so the 3.6 wins here. And, I carry it a lot elsewhere, too.

Going into the city, where their snarky gun laws don't like the second ammendment, I find the 9c is kinda physically, the same size as the Shield, with more bullets, and a 17 round backup is mentally reassuring to me.

I always have my lil .380 as a BUG.

Different guns for different purposes, and a good reason to have them all!

Resurrected thread.

Picked up the 3.6 from SMGA, no manual safety and was shipped in a cardboard box

This thread was definitely helpful in my selection.

Of what I own, this truly points naturally and feels incredible. Trigger is unquestionably improved from the original M&Ps and overall quality is on par with some more expensive Germans I own, if not better.

Will be getting some trigger time in this week

Received my M&P 2.0 compact 3.6 yesterday,no thumb safety came in card board box,no chamber flag or a wrench for the rear sight. I have not been able to try it out yet!
I was told only the 4 in barrel with thumb safety came in a plastic box.
