SW top break box 1870-80?

Picked up this box, But was wondering if you guys could date it?
Its 91/8" long 31/4" wide. I can read the first letter D where Double should be and Nickel its a hinged black box the end stamp is still present but its been painted over and is only partly legible.

Most likely for a 38 DA revolver or Safety Hammerless model, maybe from around 1900. Best guess.

I agree. Possibly a year or two earlier or later but around 1900 is the best guess. Unfortunately, the paint on the label kills the collector value.
