picked this up the other day... a 28-2, the book puts it at about 1973. ser# N1913**
No finish wear at all and very faint turn line. I got it to keep my 4incher company.

Oh that is a beauty. I would love to have a boxed M28-2 to keep my 6" M28-2 company too.

I chased a 4" 28-2 this weekend turned out to be a dog.........still looking...... your 28-2 looks like a very nice find
