I RECENTLY PURCHASED A MODEL 29 (AFF11XX) MODEL 29-3 44 MAGNUM,
BARREL IS 5 7/8 FROM FORCING CONE (CYLINDER SIDE) TO TIP AND PORTED.

ANY CLUES AS TO AGE AND WHO DID THE DOUBLE ACTION TRIGGER JOB(FACTORY OR ARIZONA GUNSMITH) AND WHEN IT WAS MANUF IS APPRECIATED.

I'M REPLACING A MDL 29 I SOLD IN THE 90'S, AND WANT THE HISTORY FOR INS.-THX

As for you Model 29, SCSW says that peepaw is right on the date of manufacture.
