New 63 Problem - Update

As I indicated in my last post, my new 63 (.22) was jamming with CCI ammo. It appears when fired the empty shells would jam the cylinder, making it impossible to rotate and difficult to open. I cleaned the gun very well and tested in again today. I fired 90 rounds, 30 each of CCI, Winchester and Federal Bulk.
After 10 rounds the Winchesters started jamming. Next all 30 rounds of the Federal Bulk worked flawlessly, accurate and easily ejected. The last, CCI, jammed as before. Obviously the gun is ammo sensitive, but why? Any thoughts?

Because all .22s are ammo sensitive. Also very sensitive as to accuracy from one brand to another.

I have a new 63 that also had stickey extraction after two or three cylinders of any ammo were fired. I removed the cylinder and extracter and very lightly chamfered the sharp edges. I polished the chambers with some flitz and put it back together.
That took care of the problem for me.

It never occurred to me that any revolver would be this sensitive to ammo. I guess my .38s have spoiled me, they'll shoot anything that fits in the cylinder.

Reason is you are dealing with a lot smaller dimensions so it doesn't leave much room to play with.

I was asked for more info on polishing the chambers and lightly deburing my new 63.
I removed the cylinder and disassembled it. I used some flitz on a small cotton patch and a wooden q-tip to polish the chambers, in & out motion about 50 times per chamber. Each chamber was then cleaned with patches and Hoppes #9.
The chamber and extractor had extremeley sharp edges. In order to break the edges I used a conical cratex rod in a demel at very low speed. Very lightly debur the parts, clean everything with Hoppes and reassemble. I have not had any extraction problems with any ammo this was done.
