I just picked up my first carry gun today. I bought a glaco inside the waste holster and have carried it all day. I have to say I have been very pleased so far, I carried it all day and forgot it was there. I will shoot it next weekend. I noticed the double pull seemed to be harder than other smiths, is just me or are all the 637's like that. Does anyone know of some nice wood grips to put on it. Thanks,

glad you like your 637. My wife and I have one
apeice. The trigger will get much better after
use.(either by firing, or dry firing, or just
cycling the action with the hammer and trigger
while watching tv. unloaded of course) Check out the grip selection on the S&W web page, there
is quite a selection there, however the UM's
that came on it are probably the best choice
for shooting purposes.

Added one to my arsenal of carry guns at Christmas. Lightened up the trigger on mine with a reduced power hammer spring and a 14lb rebound spring, and am much happier with it now. the hammer spring is easy to change a paper clip is all you need, the rebound spring on the other hand is a little more difficult but you will see more improvement in the DA pull if you change it.
Cheers!
Chris
