New 65-5

Looks like a good reason to be pleased. I have mine in the case ready for a range trip. As soon as the honey-do list gets a bit smaller I will go shoot some.
You will love that revolver. I have a 65-3 and a 65-5, buth wear Grashorn stag socks. These are fine woods guns.

Good job! Nice 3 incher you have there. I had 1, but traded it off. Got a 586 no dash 4" out of it. Enjoy your 65! Bob

Excellent find.
I'm late to the 3" K-frame party, but I hope to remedy that in a couple of days. I found a police trade in 65-3 with the 3 inch barrel at a local gun store. It has a few scratches from carry but nothing too bad. Mechanically it seems sound. Pretty tight lock up, practically no end shake and a decent trigger pull. Even the barrel to cylinder gap measured .005.
I put a little money down to hold it and hope to pick it up in the next few days. I'll be scouring the forums on gentle buffing techniques to bring back it's beauty.
I've never owned a K-frame. I can't wait to shoot it.

Bought my 3" 65-3 a year ago this coming weekend and she has been a sweet shooter.I am sure you will enjoy yours.
