New 69 on the way

The only Smith and Wesson currently in my home is a Sport AR-15. That changes soon. I am about to make the last & final payment on my S&W 69. Slowly, I've begin swapping all my old revolvers, (named after a bull), over to S&W. Now, which one is next? My old S&W-15, now belongs t my brother, so maybe a 67?

I started out on Taurus revolvers too. I had a model 66 6" barrel and I still have a 941 4". Functionally there was nothing really wrong with either but the fit and finish is lacking.

I'd think a good sibling to that 69 would be a 66. Family resemblance and all.

I've had two range sessions with my Model 69. I love it. I'm working up .44 Special loads in .44 Mag cases for it. Very nice shooter so far.

If you truly have vintage bull revolvers, I would keep them before buying modern S&W revolvers, but that's just me.

Do your diligence and examine potential purchases with great scrutiny. Good luck with the process!
