New 9mm 2.0 double feeds

Just signed up for a defensive handgun class on March 9, exactly 4 weeks and two days after my M&P arrived at S&W. I'm hoping it will be back in time to use at the class. I'll pick up an OWB holster in the meantime and hope it works out. Other wise, I'll use my Glock 22.

Update:

Just spoke with S&W customer service. I was told my pistol went into the gunsmith shop on Tuesday of last week and that the extractor had been replaced.

Talked to CS again Friday. They said the gun had been test fired and is due to ship on Tuesday. I should have it back Thursday of next week. So, I'll get it back in time to try it out next weekend, and then take to the defensive handgun class the following weekend. Now, I need to buy an extra magazine, a double mag pouch, and an owb holster. Plus another 500 rounds for the class.

Smith & Wesson has always been stellar when it comes to Customer Service. I am reading posts on other sites where SiG as of late, has not been so stellar. My Shield v2.0 is replacing my G43 for EDC. So far it eats everything that I have thrown at it including 147gr hollow points. I do not need a 3.6" v2.0 because I have that covered with my G26, but the darn thing keeps calling to me. LOL

Dbl feed

They are correct on Fed Ex ,just has to ship to a business and not an individual,it goes 2nd day

Look closely at the picture in the original post. I don't see a firing pin indentation in the chambered rounds primer. It's a live round.

I think the pic youre talking about was an example posted by RASTOFF

Update: M&P9 2.0 arrived back from S&W on Thursday. As noted in a previous post, the extractor was replaced.

Just went to the range today to test it out. I also picked up a 3rd mag, mag pouch, and holster for a class I'm taking next week. And tried them all out with the pistol to function test and practice with everything.

Ran 100 rounds of the WWB 115 grain with no issues.
