Despite a severe sore throat,I went to a semi-local show on Saturday. Managed to pick up a 19-3 snub to replace one that I sold on the forum a year or so ago. A little freckling on the sideplate. $445 OTD!

Since the show was close by and I was feeling a little better,I decided to go back yesterday. When I got out of my truck, there were two guys nearby in the parking lot looking at what appeared from a distance to be a nickel Smith. I stopped and started chatting. One of the guys was trying to sell his gun. Long story short, the other guy decided to pass and left. So,I ask the guy what he wanted for his gun. He says $550. I instinctively asked if he would take $500? He says show me the money. I did,and brought home this Model 57-0. Sometimes things just go your way. :D

you lucky dog...that 57 is NICE.....what was the other guy thinking?

I'd say you had a nice weekend fat tom, both real nice pieces. That 57 really stands out.:cool: The 19 is nothing to sneeze about either. You done good.

I tried to get better pics of the 19,but just couldn't. It looks better than the pics show. I see no evidence of it ever having been fired (powder marks on every other chamber),just poor storage I guess. The light accentuates the indexing ring. It's barely visible.

Great pick-up times two. That 57 is especially good looking
wheelgun. Bet these two made you feel better.

Niiiiiice... After your experience, l sure won't let being sick stop me from attending the next gun show. Heck... I might even do better if l am sick!

That definitely wasn't one of those days when you shoulda stood in bed.

Very nice acquisitions.

I wish I had paid $500 for my M57, nickel, 4"! But noooooo! I paid more for mine! Two great Smiths, congrats on the acquisition of those.
