I hand load
And in my carry guns (automatcis), Winchester, Remington Hollow points. Its easy and safe, been used for years.
I reload with Winchester, Remington, Hornady, and Zero bullets.
There are some reloads in my revolvers, that are all over the house, but they are all straight wall casings, easy to reload and not as length sensitive as a Automatic pistols would be. All situations are different, and the thing most people forget is unless you hit something to instantly stop a attacker, they don't know they have been shot. There is so many mechanics and science going on during a shooting. Its just hard to say one round is better than another. But based on the all the studies, Military, Police,FBI, they all seem to conjure up the More than one round theory, like 45cal needs 2.28 rounds, and a 40 cal needs 2.35 rounds, and a 9mm needs 2.5 rounds to completely stop a threat.. Or some Lingo similar to that LOL. if you carry a automatic you better have some Guaranteed ammo like your Law Enforcement Agency uses. And your revolver won't jam, but a factory load that's been proven would be the safest bet to me.
